The rocker will share the stage with headliner Perry during the half-time show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on February 1. Perry extended a public invitation for Kravitz to join her for her Super Bowl set during a chat with Willie Geist on NBC's NFL coverage on Saturday (January 10). Geist's full interview with Perry will air on NBC's Today on Monday (January 12). Kravitz formally accepted Perry's invitation in a message posted on his Twitter account later in the day on Saturday. "Lenny will be joining @katyperry during the @pepsi @SuperBowl Halftime Show on February 1st on @SNFonNBC," the message read. Perry and Kravitz will be following in the footsteps of last year's half-time headliners Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who drew criticism for miming their performance.
