PanARMENIAN.Net - An audition tape from Richard Linklater's "Dazed and Confused" featuring Matthew McConaughey emerged online about two decades after the movie was released. The Criterion Collection uploaded the video on YouTube on Monday, January 12. In it, the Oscar-winning actor can be seen delivering some lines alongside two actors, AceShowbiz reports.

The "True Detective" star plays David Wooderson in "Dazed and Confused" which was released in 1993. The coming of age movie focuses on a group of teenagers in 1976 as they spend their last day of school in the summer. Ben Affleck, Jason London, Milla Jovovich and Adam Goldberg are among the cast members.

Linklater is now enjoying the success of his 12-year project "Boyhood", winning Best Director trophy for the movie at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. "I'm the luckiest filmmaker in the world to have them support me like that. They stayed with it. No one drifted away. They got more dedicated," Linklater said of the crew and cast members on backstage.
