Netflix adds 13 million new subscribers in 2014

PanARMENIAN.Net - Netflix has revealed that 13 million new members joined in 2014, Digital Spy reports.

The streaming service now possesses 57.4 million subscribers worldwide, the company confirmed yesterday (Tuesday, January 20).

The numbers also reveal that 4.33 million subscribed in Q4 2014, a new quarterly high, beating the figure of 4.07 million in Q4 2013.

"Internet TV is growing globally and Netflix is leading the charge," stated Netflix.

Netflix will expand to Australia and New Zealand in March 2015.

In the same month, new series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (March 6) and Bloodline (March 20) will debut.

Meanwhile, Kevin Spacey's House of Cards will return for its third season on February 27.
