Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight” begins productionJanuary 26, 2015 - 14:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lee Horsley, Craig Stark and Belinda Owino have joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, which officially kicked off principal photography Friday, Jan 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Western is shooting in Telluride, Colorado, with a cast that includes Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Michael Madsen and Channing Tatum. Tarantino stalwarts James Parks and Zoe Bell are also on the roll call. Set a decade or so after the Civil War, the movie features bounty hunters, fugitives, renegades and other individuals of dubious backgrounds who are forced to hole up in a stagecoach stopover when a snowstorm hits. The travelers soon get the feeling that they may not make it to their destination. Tarantino wrote the script and is directing. Richard N. Gladstein, Stacey Sher and Shannon McIntosh are producing. Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein and Georgia Kacandes are executive producing. Horsley starred in the 1980s detective show Matt Houston and appeared as a sheriff in Tarantino's Django Unchained. Stark also acted in Django and has popped up in TV shows such as Nashville. Owino participated in Django in an uncredited role.
