Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm and Jason Schwartzman have reportedly landed guest starring/recurring roles on the upcoming 8-episode limited series which is currently in the works at Netflix. As AceShowbiz reports citing Deadline , "Mad Men" lead actor Hamm will play a secret spy, "Bridesmaids" star Wiig will portray a snobby counselor at the preppy rival camp Camp Tigerclaw, "Star Trek" hunk Pine will play character who is described as mysterious, and "Bored to Death" alum Schwartzman lands the role of the boy's camp head counselor. Netflix has not commented on the latest casting report. Previously, the streaming service released a first teaser for the show that confirmed the returning cast. They include Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter. The limited series, which will serve as a prequel to the 2001 comedy movie, tells the story of the first day of Camp Firewood's famous summer season. David Wain returns as director and once again provides the script along with Showalter. Filming on the limited series already began earlier this month. Netflix plans to release it this summer.
