Magnolia, Participant Media nab “Best of Enemies” Gore Vidal docu January 29, 2015 - 14:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Magnolia Pictures and Participant Media have teamed up to acquire Sundance documentary “Best of Enemies”, TheWrap said citing an individual with knowledge of the deal. The Morgan Neville and Robert Gordon-directed doc, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, follows the series of televised debates between liberal writer Gore Vidal and conservative William F. Buckley in 1968. The film dives deep into the two men’s biographies and examines how the debates shaped the way public discourse unfolded in the decades to come. The deal was brokered by Submarine and WME Global.
