The Morgan Neville and Robert Gordon-directed doc, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, follows the series of televised debates between liberal writer Gore Vidal and conservative William F. Buckley in 1968. The film dives deep into the two men’s biographies and examines how the debates shaped the way public discourse unfolded in the decades to come. The deal was brokered by Submarine and WME Global.
