Google Now service gets third party app integration![]() February 2, 2015 - 11:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google has rolled out an update to its Google Now service which allows it to work with third-party apps, Digital Spy reports. Previously, the internet giant would only use its own information cards - but the tool now supports information cards from 40 new apps. These range from Shazam and eBay to Trip Advisor and Waze, meaning users can get content from their favourite apps directly within the virtual assistant. "Starting today, the Google app on Android can help you keep up with all the good stuff in 40 different apps at a glance - it'll bring you Now cards to help you out with your day-to-day life, giving you information that's helpful to you, right when you need it," Google explained in a blog post.
