Bjork's New York exhibit to include 3D music & film experience February 5, 2015 - 15:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - New York's Museum Of Modern Art have announced details of their multimedia exhibition, which chronicles Bjork's career, Gigwise reports. The retrospective, which has been given the fitting name 'Bjork', draws from over 20 years of the musician's projects, from her seven albums to her exploration of film, visuals, objects, costumes and performance. The installation has been co-written by Bjork herself alongside Icelandic writer Sjon, and will present both a biographical and imaginatively fictitious narrative. The exhibition culminates in a "newly commissioned, immersive music and film experience conceived and realized with director Andrew Thomas Huang and 3-D design leader Autodesk." This music and film experience will be called Black Lake. The whole thing sounds about as bizarre as you'd expect from the brilliant mind of Bjork. It runs from 8 March to 7 June, but sadly only in New York. Meanwhile, Bjork was recently forced to rush-release her stunning new album Vulnicura on iTunes after it leaked online. It will be released on CD and vinyl next month. She's announced a number of US dates, with a world tour expected to follow soon.
