According to a recent report by the Tracking Board, the actor has been offered to play the character in the upcoming live-action movie by Disney. If the deal is sealed, Gosling will star alongside Emma Watson who previously confirmed her role as Belle. "I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast!" she told her fans on Facebook in late January. "It almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'," she continued, "Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it." The musical flick will start the production later this year with Bill Condon serving behind the lens. Release date has not been decided for the flick. Gosling made his directing debut with "Lost River" which is set for release in the U.S. on April 10.
