Alabama Shakes announce details of new album, “Sound & Color”February 12, 2015 - 12:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heartfelt rock and soul outfit Alabama Shakes have announced that their new album Sound and Color will be released on 20 April, Digital Spy reports. Two out of the twelve tracks have now been revealed and are available for listening pleasure. The band co-produced the record with Blake Mills (who has worked with Norah Jones, Conor Oberst and Lana Del Rey) and recorded the project in Nashville at the Sound Emporium studio. Speaking of the process, powerhouse vocalist Brittany Howard said: “We took our time to write this record, and I’m really glad we did. We were able to sit down and think about what’s exciting to us.
