LG adds 4 new budget handsets to its smartphone range

PanARMENIAN.Net - LG has added four new budget handsets to its smartphone range, according to Digital Spy.

The Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy cater for the low-to-mid-range points of the market spectrum, and include gesture shot camera mode to aid selfie snapping.

The Magna spearheads the range, coming with a 5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.

It also includes a 2540mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, and the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

LG's Spirit is a smaller offering with a 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 1-megapixel front sensor on board.

Rounding off the range, are the 4.5-inch Leon and 4-inch Joy, both of which sport quad-core chipsets, 1GB of RAM, 1900mAh batteries and Android 5.0.

The Leon offers an 8-megapixel rear camera and the Joy's is 5-megaxpixels. Both have VGA snappers on the front.

LG is yet to announce pricing and availability for the new handsets, but is expected to showcase them at the Mobile World Congress, which kicks off on March 1.
