The device is a new iteration of the Xperia E4, which was only announced a matter of weeks ago, adding an improved processor as well as more connectivity options. The Xperia E4g is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, a modest improvement on the 1.3GHz quad-core chipset inside the standard edition. Other specs, including 1GB of RAM, a 5.0-inch 960 x 540 display, 8GB of storage and a 2300 mAh battery, remain unchanged. Sony has also stuck with the plastic build and curved edges of the Xperia E4 giving the handset an unaltered design. The Xperia E4g will be released in April with a €129 price tag, but launch territories are yet to be confirmed.
