Jessica Chastain joins

PanARMENIAN.Net - The cast ensemble of "The Huntsman" are welcoming the addition of actress Jessica Chastain into the pack. The 37-year-old movie beauty has closed a deal to act in the film, a follow-up to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman". Her character has not yet been disclosed, AceShowbiz reports.

Chastain joins Emily Blunt who was confirmed last week to have landed the part of the evil Snow Queen. Besides both actresses, the cast ensemble include the likes of Chris Hemsworth who will be reprising his role as the Huntsman Eric, and Charlize Theron, who is back to play villainous Ravenna. Kristen Stewart, who played Snow White in the first film, won't be reprising her role in the spinoff.

Plot details for "The Hunstman" are not yet known. In fact, it is expected to tell the story of "how the fates of two characters, the Huntsman Eric and Ravenna, intersected before they met Snow White," Variety reported. The movie is slated to hit theaters on April 22, 2016.
