Jonny Greenwood teases vague details about new Radiohead albumFebruary 28, 2015 - 15:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead has proceeded to tease fans with further vague updates about the band's long awaited follow up to their 2011 LP King of Limbs, Gigwise reports. In an interview with The Sunday Guardian, Greenwood mainly spoke about the band's recording sessions of late, saying that they have "done a couple months recording" which have "gone really well". He continued to outline the new approach the band are taking with regards to recording the LP, saying: "We've certainly changed our method again. It's too involved [to explain how]. We're kind of limiting ourselves; working in limits. So we'll see what happens. It's like we're trying to use very old and very new technology together to see what happens." Cryptic and curious perhaps, but still potentially extraordinary. Greenwood is also working on a new record tilted towards an infusion of western and world music. He has been working with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur and a whole host of talented Rajasthani folk musicians who's music encompasses "Arabic, Indian and western music." Greenwood describes the experience as "amazing". He explains of his new project, the people he has been working with, and music in India: "They have such a different energy and enthusiasm for music. It's just, it's part of life here, it feels, rather than just being an occupation. It's different; there's music everywhere. Like when we're playing and recording or rehearsing with these musicians, when they take a break, they go and play more. That's not true in England. We just take a break. But here, it's just this urge to make music, and it's really inspiring. " Greenwood also recently contributed to a soundtrack regarding tax avoidance, featuring Thom Yorke and members of Elbow, Masive Attack. Concerning the ever contentious subject of tax avoidance, the film was irected by Mark Donne and narrated by actor Dominic West The soundtrack can streamed via the UK Uncut website now.
