Tribeca Film Festival announces first half of 2015 lineup

PanARMENIAN.Net - Tribeca Film Festival on Tuesday, March 3 announced the first half of its 2015 lineup in the World Narrative, Documentary Competition, and Viewpoints categories. Making the list among others were "The Adderall Diaries" starring James Franco, Amber Heard, Ed Harris, and Cynthia Nixon, "Franny" with Richard Gere, Dakota Fanning, and Theo James in the cast, and "Meadowland" featuring Olivia Wilde, Luke Wilson, John Leguizamo, Elizabeth Moss, and Juno Temple, AceShowbiz reports.

There were a total of 51 film titles announced. Chosen from 6,223 films, the announced lineup included feature films from 31 countries with 64 world premieres. This year's fest, presented by AT&T, is slated to be held beginning from April 15 to 26 and is set to be opened with the "Saturday Night Live" documentary "Live From New York!". The event will include free screenings on April 24, as part of AT&T's "Film for All" Friday.

Advanced ticket packages and passes have been available for purchase on the Tribeca official site for American Express Card Members and will be available for general public starting next Monday, March 9. Movies in the festival's spotlight, midnight, and special sections are expected to be announced later this week.
