Ben Kingsley takes over Ryan Reynolds’ body in “Self/Less” trailer (video) March 5, 2015 - 11:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Science fiction allows some crazy things to happen, and the latest just-barely-plausible story will see Ben Kingsley taking over Ryan Reynolds’ body — though of course it all goes wrong pretty quickly, TheWrap reports. “Self/Less”, from “The Cell” director Tarsem Singh, follows a dying billionaire (Kingsley) who agrees to undergo a radical medical procedure that will allow him to live on in a new, younger body (Reynolds). He thinks it’s a clean slate, until he starts getting hit with visions which turn out to be memories of his host body’s real life. If that weren’t already enough to deal with, Matthew Goode is also on board as the maybe-nefarious scientist who is not happy that someone may have figured out the truth, whatever it may be. Alex Pastor and David Pastor wrote the script. “Self/Less” will be released by Focus Features in the summer.
