Mumford & Sons unveils

PanARMENIAN.Net - After ending their hiatus, Mumford & Sons has finally returned with a new single. The British group dropped on Monday, March 9 "Believe" as the first offering from their new album "Wilder Mind" that they announced a few days ago, AceShowbiz reports.

The song proves that Marcus Mumford and his mates weren't lying when they said that their new music wouldn't involve banjo. Over the electric guitar riffs, the vocalist sings some heartbreaking lyrics like, "So open up my eyes/ Tell me I'm alive/ This is never gonna go our way/ If I'm gonna have to guess what's on your mind."

The band has revealed that they wrote "Believe" while attending a friend's wedding in Texas. "The family at the ranch let us stay on in an outhouse for a week, and we did a lot of writing there," Mumford said. "I had to leave early by a day. By the time we met up in London a couple of weeks later to demo the songs that we'd been writing, the boys brought 'Believe' to the table and I got it and just sang."

"Wilder Mind" is coming out on May 4.
