Armenia, Lebanon sign military cooperation plan for 2015

PanARMENIAN.Net - A delegation of the Lebanese Armed Forces completed its visit to Armenia on Friday, March 13, after holding meetings with Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and other top military officials.

The delegation also visited several departments of Armenian Defense Ministry, educational institutions and military industry enterprises, Panorama.am reported, citing the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.

Military education, training and peacekeeping were discussed and an agreement was reached to organize mutual visits of the Armenian and Lebanese Defense Ministers in the near future.

Head of Armenian Defense Ministry’s Defense Policy Department Levon Ayvazyan and head of the Lebanese delegation, Brigadier General Manuel Kirejian signed bilateral military cooperation plan for 2015.
