PanARMENIAN.Net - The first teaser trailer for Pixels has been released, according to Digital Spy.

A 10-second glimpse of Adam Sandler's gaming comedy is revealed ahead of a full trailer on Tuesday, March 17.

Pixels tells the story of what happens when aliens misinterpret videos of classic arcade games as a declaration of war.

After incorrectly understanding the videos, the creatures attack earth using the games as a form of attack.

The US President (Kevin James) then has to rely on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), to lead a team of old-school arcade players (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad) to defeat the aliens.

Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox, Jane Krakowski and Ashley Benson also feature in the comedy, based on Patrick Jean's short film.

Pixels is released on May 15, 2015 in the US and on May 27, 2015 in the UK.
