New unreleased Tupac music to be releasedMarch 28, 2015 - 17:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Fans are likely getting new music by Tupac Shakur. Jeff Jampol, the head of JAM Inc. that's been working with the late rapper's mom Afeni Shakur to oversee her son's collection since 2013, talks to Billboard about handling his works and reveals plan to release unearthed material in the future as a part of the 20th anniversary of the rap legend's death, AceShowbiz reports. "[There's] almost an embarrassment of riches of unreleased music, released music, remixes, original demos, writings, scripts, plans, video treatments, and poems," explains Jampol. There have already been several Tupac albums dropped since he passed away in 1996, but Jampol says there are still plenty of unreleased songs in the vault. "Some of the music is in bits and pieces, some of it is complete. Some of it is good, some of it needs work," adds Tom Whalley, who signed Tupac to Interscope and is working with Jampol on the new project. "But I think the work that is left can be completed, and it is worth his fans hearing." The first work JAM Inc. has managed to put together is Derrick Rose's Powerade commercial that features Shakur reciting a line from his poem "Mama's Just a Little Girl". More recently, Tupac is heard having a conversation with Kendrick Lamar on "Mortal Man" from the latter rapper's "To Pimp a Butterfly" album.
