Godzilla's Gareth Edwards executive produces this sequel to his 2010 science fiction movie Monsters, with television's Misfits director Tom Green leading the project. Monsters: Dark Continent follows the supernatural disaster from the first movie as blood-thirsty creatures rampage worldwide. The US army has to battle these monsters and a new insurgency in the Middle East at the same time. Snow White and the Huntsman's Johnny Harris, Kingsman: The Secret Service actress Sofia Boutella and Dempsie star in the upcoming movie.
