The South Korean firm has ordered 8 million flexible OLED panels for its next-generation handsets, according to ETNews. Samsung is said to be expecting record sales for next year's handsets, and has expanded its Display arm to facilitate their development. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be released later this year, while the Galaxy S7 will be the company's flagship for 2016. The tech giant is also expected to launch variant editions of the Galaxy S6 in the coming months, including the rugged Galaxy S6 Active.
