Florence + The Machine release new song

PanARMENIAN.Net - Florence + The Machine have just released a brand new song, called ‘Ship To Wreck’, Gigwise reveals.

The single, which is due for release on May 25, is the second to be taken from their forthcoming album How Big How Blue How Beautiful.

Discussing the new song, Florence Welch said: “I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you're in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most.”

The track’s accompanying video is set to be revealed next week, and was filmed inside Welch's own home.

Florence + The Machine recorded the tracks on the new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, over the course of 2014. The LP was produced by Markus Dravs, along with contributions from Paul Epworth, Kid Harpoon and John Hill. The album will hit shelves on June 1 via Island Records.

The tracklisting for How Big How Blue How Beautiful is as follows: Ship To Wreck What Kind Of Man How Big How Blue How Beautiful Queen Of Peace Various Storms & Saints Delilah Long & Lost Caught Third Eye St Jude Mother

Florence + The Machine are scheduled to play at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this weekend (April 10-12) and the following weekend (April 17-19).
