According to a scoop from Tracking Board, the actress is Universal's top choice to play the key character in the revamped version of Jack Arnold's horror classic, AceShowbiz reports. The original movie starring Julia Adams was released in 1954 in 3D. It revolves around a group of scientists who discovers a dangerous pre-historic creature that is part human and part fish while they are on an expedition in the Amazon. Universal has been in the process of reviving their Monsters properties and creating a shared universe for them.
