PanARMENIAN.Net - Panasonic has launched a wearable action camera called the HX-A1, according to Digital Spy.

The Go-Pro rival is a POV action camcorder that is designed to be ultra-compact and extra-durable, weighing in at just 45 grams.

The HX-A1 is capable of shooting in full HD and is resistant to water, dust and cold, allowing users to strap it to their body wherever their adventures take them.

It films video at 60fps with 1280×720 pixels or 120fps with 848×480 pixels, and offers slow-motion recording as well as dedicated night modes for shooting in the dark.

Other features include built-in WiFi and Wireless Twin Camera mode, which combines footage shot with Panasonic W970 and W870 camcorders via internet connectivity, presenting multi-angle composites in a sub-window.

Panasonic is yet to announce pricing or a release date for the HX-A1.
