PanARMENIAN.Net - After releasing the first official look at Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger, "Black Mass" now debuts the first trailer. The video opens with a dinner conversation where the notorious Boston criminal asks his host about the marinade he used for the steak they eat, AceShowbiz reports.

After a bit of pushing, the man finally reveals the recipe. "You said to me this is a family secret, and you gave it up to me, boom, just like that," Depp's Bulger says. "You spill the secret family recipe to me today, maybe you spill a little something about me tomorrow."

Supported by Benedict Cumberbatch and Sienna Miller among others, the movie is set in 1970s South Boston. FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James "Whitey" Bulger to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob.

Directed by Scott Cooper, the true-story drama scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on September 18 tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.
