Windows 10 to run reworked Android apps

PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft has revealed its grand plan to close the app gap that stands between Windows and its rival platforms, Digital Spy reports.

Windows 10 will run reworked iOS and Android apps, allowing developers to easily convert their software for the universal operating system.

This is possible because Windows 10 supports Java and C++ code and Objective C code, programming languages that iOS and Android apps are built on.

Converted software will run natively on Microsoft's seamless operating system, syncing with other apps and services.

Microsoft announced its plans to narrow the app gap during its Build conference in San Francisco, where it also revealed ambitions to get Windows 10 on 1 billion devices within two-to-three years.

Windows 10 will be released for tablets, phones, PCs and more this summer.
