The neo-Western sets a family drama against a murder investigation, as Duvall plays the influential head of a prominent Texas clan. When a 15-year-old murder mystery threatens to bring him down, Scott Briggs (Duvall) will stop at nothing to cover up the evidence. Wild Horses is Duvall's first directorial effort in 13 years. His 2002 movie Assassination Tango received mixed reviews, but 1997's The Apostle earned Duvall an Oscar nomination. Wild Horses opens on June 5 in the US.
