Will Poulter to play Pennywise in Stephen King's “It” adaptation

PanARMENIAN.Net - A remake of classic horror "It" has found its main baddie in Will Poulter. The "We're the Millers" actor is tapped to play Pennywise the Clown who was previously portrayed by Tim Curry in the 1990 original miniseries which is based on Stephen King's novel, AceShowbiz reports.

The story focuses on a group of children who encounter a strange man in a clown costume and meet him again years later as adults. It will be turned into two feature films directed by Cary Fukunaga ("True Detective"). He will also co-write the script with Chase Palmer.

Will Poulter was previously seen on the big screen in Young Adult adaptation "The Maze Runner". The 22-year-old actor will next star in Alejandro G. Inarritu's "The Revenant" opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy.
