Samsung’s round smartwatch tipped for IFA expoMay 8, 2015 - 18:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung is one of the few Android Wear manufacturers yet to launch a round smartwatch, but that could well change at the IFA expo in September, according to Digital Spy. Rumours blog SamMobile claims that the so-called Gear A wearable will make its debut at the Germany trade show. Previous reports suggest that Samsung's round-faced Apple Watch rival is a true next-generation smartwatch, with features including 3G calling, wireless charging, and a rotating bezel ring for cycling through apps. The Korean firm has flooded the market with wearables over the last few years, but is currently on a hiatus from smartwatches while it plots its next move. Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA, and likely tout the new smartwatch as a companion for the flagship phablet.
