Apple refreshes MacBook Pro with Retina display for 2015

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple has refreshed its 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display for 2015.

The updated laptop includes the Force Touch trackpad that debuted with the new MacBook, bringing haptic feedback and the ability to register pressure.

The MacBook Pro with Retina has also received a specs boost and now includes an AMD Radeon R9 M380X graphics chip than runs 80% faster than its predecessor.

"Today we are thrilled to bring the new Force Touch trackpad, faster flash storage and longer battery life to the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display," said Apple marketing chief Philip Schiller.

"Customers love the groundbreaking iMac with Retina 5K display, and now with a new lower starting price, even more people can experience the best desktop we've ever made."

Internals will vary based on how much you are willing to spend, with those who shell out $2,480 getting a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 16GB of RAM and 256GB storage, with an Intel Iris Pro graphical processor.

For around $3,100, you can take home a laptop with a 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 chip, 16GB of RAM, 512GB storage and Radeon R9 M370X graphics.
