Dropbox rolls out improved image preview support to Web appMay 20, 2015 - 10:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Cloud storage service Dropbox is rolling out improved image preview support to its Web app over the next few days, The Next Web reports. A new preview tool will allow users to zoom and pan and zoom into JPG, PNG, BMP and Photoshop PSD images. Dropbox says users will also be able to view PostScript (.eps) files and see more accurate color matching and higher resolutions in previews of Photoshop (.psd), Illustrator (.ai) and scalable vector graphic (.svg) files in a browser. In addition, the Web app will bring support for viewing artboards and pages in Illustrator files, so that the users can check out entire vector images without having to download them or even have the necessary design software installed on the desktop. Together with Dropbox’s file commenting system, the update should make it easier for users to collaborate on imaging projects.
