U.S. envoy to Azerbaijan calls Yerevan, Baku “to show political will”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. envoy to Azerbaijan called the conflicting parties to show political will in solving the Karabakh issue, APA reports.

“As a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, the U.S. strives to solve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Today, we continue our efforts in this direction," the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Sekuta said.

According to him, the co-chairs have been negotiating with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to organize the meeting of the presidents this year: "it should not be forgotten that the leadership of both countries must demonstrate will to take steps based on the ideas offered by the Co-Chairs towards peaceful resolution of the protracted conflict ".
