Andrea Riseborough

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Crow" may have found its main villain, but there is a twist. As AceShowbiz reports citing Deadline, that Andrea Riseborough, best known for her roles in "Birdman" and "Oblivion" among other films, is in talks with Relativity Studios to portray Top Dollar, who is actually a guy in the comics and the original movie, AceShowbiz reports.

Top Dollar, portrayed by Michael Wincott in the 1994 movie, is the head of a crime syndicate responsible for the brutal murder of rocker Eric Draven and his fiancee in the graphic novel. The character, however, is never seen in James O'Barr's comics.

"Boardwalk Empire" actor Jack Huston has been cast as Draven, who is brought to life by supernatural bird crow to avenge the killings. The comics creator O'Barr said in March that "Downton Abbey" star Jessica Brown Findlay had landed the role of Draven's fiancee, Shelly.

He additionally revealed that the bird accompanying Draven would be actually talking to him and would be brought to life with stop-motion animation. Filming will begin "in a couple of months" in Belgium which stands in for Detroit.

Corin Hardy is on board as director, with Cliff Dorfman in charge of the script.
