"Mission: Impossible 6" already in the works

PanARMENIAN.Net - The fifth installment of "Mission Impossible", titled "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation", won't be hitting the theaters until this coming July, but the sixth film in the franchise has been in development. Paramount, Bad Robot and Skydance Productions are currently developing the flick which is tentatively titled "Mission: Impossible 6", AceShowbiz reports.

The Tracking Board was first to break the news. The site reported that Tom Cruise, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and J.J. Abrams would be all returning to produce. Don Granger and Matt Grimm, meanwhile, are set to serve as executive producers with Elizabeth Raposo set to oversee development on the upcoming action movie. Cast members and production date have not yet been set. Plot details also haven't been revealed.

"Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation" is slated to be released on July 31 this year in the U.S. The action-adventure-thriller sees Tom Cruise returning to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt. It also stars the likes of Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, as well as Jeremy Renner among others.
