Sega gaming giant confirms plans to axe more iOS and Android gamesMay 25, 2015 - 16:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Sega has confirmed plans to remove another crop of mobile games from Google Play and the App Store, Digital Spy reports. The gaming giant took a golden axe to 19 of its iOS and Android titles last week, claiming that they fell short of its standards. "A few more games should be removed from the stores in the next few weeks," said Sega in a statement to Pocket Gamer. Sega hasn't confirmed which games it's pulling next, but Sonic Spinball, Streets of Rage 2, Shining Force, Shinobi 3, and Gunstar Heroes are likely candidates on iOS. Crazy Taxi, ChuChu Rocket, Virtua Tennis Challenge, and Spellwood are among the other surviving platforms on both platforms. Sega has suggested that the withdrawn games could return with some refinement, and confirmed that customers who have already downloaded them can continue to access their purchases.
