Black Sabbath to reissue first eight albums on vinyl

PanARMENIAN.Net - In light of a Black Sabbath farewell tour, it has been revealed that the bands first eight albums will be reissued on vinyl, and will available as soon as this summer, Gigwise reports.

The heavy metal band's first eight full-lengths will be re-released starting with their 1970 self-titled debut due out June 22, to their 1978 album 'Never Say Die' and '1976 album 'Technical Ectasy' both out on July 13.

The other albums include 1970's 'Paranoid', 'Master Of Reality' first out in 1971, 'Vol. 4' from 1972, 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' from 1973 and 'Sabotage' 1975 out June 29.

Black Sabbath recently confessed to Gigwise how bands in the modern rock industry are having a tough time getting noticed and are "playing it safe".

Despite the legendary band calling it quits and cancelling their appearance at Ozzfest, which was said to be their farewell show, Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne confirmed to Metal Hammer that there will be a final tour.

He said "the plan is that next year we’ll do the final Black Sabbath tour and album. I’m not stopping … my wife spends all my money, so I can’t."

The dates will be announced in due course, but in the mean time each of the LPs will come out in CD format as well as vinyl.
