YouTube for Artists gets analytics toolJune 3, 2015 - 20:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - YouTube launched YouTube for Artists back in March to help boost musician’s profits on its platform, and now it’s launching an analytics tool to help them keep up to date with stats about their fans all over, The Next Web reports. Called Music Insights, the tool combines views from both official and fan-uploaded sources (claimed through Content ID) since September 2014. It also collects views from cities all over the world, letting you know where your fanbase is concentrated. Google says this can be useful for knowing how to map a tour- you’d likely want to visit a city where you have more viewers – for instance. YouTube is providing access to 10,000 of the most popular artists on the platform first before bringing it to others. In the meantime, it’s making YouTube for Artists available in 22 languages.
