iPhone 6S “set to include one of the best selfie cameras on the market”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The iPhone 6S could be the handset of choice for selfie enthusiasts as leaked code from iOS 9 suggests it will feature one of the best front-facing cameras on the market, Digital Spy reports.

Developer Hamza Hood has uncovered evidence of a FaceTime snapper with 1080p video, 240fps capture at 720p, and a flash in the first beta build of the operating system.

Previous reports suggest that the iPhone 6S will be a camera-centric update, with the handset tipped to include a 12-megapixel sensor on the rear.

This is no surprise given that the Cupertino firm recently acquired Israeli camera tech firm LinX, which creates multi-aperture sensors for mobile devices.

Moving away from cameras, the iPhone 6S is also expected to include Force Touch display technology like the Apple Watch, allowing its screen to distinguish between a brief tap and a longer press.

Apple is expected to announce its latest iOS handsets around September.
