PanARMENIAN.Net - Muse are set to claim both number one and the fastest-selling album of the year so far, Digital Spy reports.

Drones is on track to become the band's fifth number one record and is currently outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined.

Muse first topped the charts in 2003 with Absolution and have since triumphed with 2006's Black Holes and Revelations, 2009's The Resistance and 2012's The 2nd Law.

Florence + the Machine slip a place to number two with How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful while Leftfield's first album in 16 years - Alternative Light Source - claims number three.

Of Monsters & Men are new in at four with Beneath The Skin while Collabro slide three places to complete the Top 5 with Act Two.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones are at six with the deluxe edition of their chart-topping 1971 album Sticky Fingers, and FFS are at 7 with their eponymous debut album.

Over on the singles chart Jason Derulo is set to continue his reign at the top with 'Want To Want Me' while Omi's 'Cheerleader' climbs a place to number two.

Walk The Moon are on course to secure this week's highest new entry with 'Shut Up & Dance' entering at number five following its full download release.

Elsewhere, Major Lazer's 'Lean On' is at number three while Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber's 'Where Are U Now' is at four.

Zedd is eyeing up his third Top 40 hit with the Selena Gomez-featuring 'I Want You To Know' debuting at number seven.

Finally, Rixton enter the chart at 14 with 'We All Want The Same Thing' while Leona Lewis is at number 24 with 'Fire Under My Feet'.
