Frontman Orlando Weeks describes the track as being about feeling really happy for someone else when they've got something. "You can feel like you have to rally against things, but people know their minds and if it brings someone contentment, then good for them." It's a bright airy, sunshiney tune and it's likely to go straight to the top of your summer playlist. The Maccabees album, Marks To Prove It, will be released on July 31, along with the single released on the same day. Describing the recording process, the band said it was "painful" "tricky" and "traumatic" and that at many points during recording they feared the album "might not happen." Guitar player Felix White admitted that at points he thought "this isn't working." The Maccabees are set to play Reading and Leeds festival and Glastonbury this summer, as well their own headline tour later in the year.
