PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for historical drama "Queen of the Desert" has arrived online. It gives a glimpse at the relationship between the characters played by Robert Pattinson and Nicole Kidman. "I'm not sure the right men for you have been born yet," he comforted her at one point, AceShowbiz reports.

Pattinson plays Lawrence of Arabia and Kidman portrays Gertrude Bell, an explorer who helped establish the countries of Iraq and Jordan. Supported by James Franco and Damian Lewis, it has been premiered at Berlin International Film Festival and is expected to hit U.S. theaters later this year.

Gertrude Bell played a decisive role around 1920 in setting the course for the new political order in the Middle East. She contributes to defining the new borders in the region after the First World War.
