Moto 360 smartwatch adds WiFi supportJune 19, 2015 - 11:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Moto 360 owners will find that their smartwatch just became more useful as the Android 5.1.1 update has ushered in a swathe of new features, Digital Spy reports. The device now supports WiFi connectivity, allowing users to sync it with their smartphone over greater distances than Bluetooth allowed. New gesture controls enable users to browse through cards, notifications and information with a flick of their wrist, eliminating the need to put your grubby mitts on the screen. Other new features include the option to draw your own emoji on the touchscreen and the ability to increase the font size on the display. Motorola began rolling out the update today (June 18) and is aiming to bring it to all users within the next few days. Meanwhile, Motorola parent company Lenovo recently hinted that a successor to the Moto 360 will be announced this summer.
