New images for third-generation Moto G leak online

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apparent images of the third-generation Moto G have popped up online, showcasing a compact, plastic-clad device, Digital Spy reveals.

The latest in a recent flurry of leaks to surround the heavily-rumoured handset, the 2015 version of the popular entry-level smartphone looks set to closely mimic its predecessors, at least visually.

Surfaced via Techno Buffalo, the leak has also offered up a selection of claimed specs, with the device tipped to host a 4.97-inch display with a now dated 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution.

This will reportedly come paired with Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 401 processor and 1GB of RAM.

Cameras are one area where the new Moto G will introduce significant improvements, with the existing 8-megapixel shooter tipped to be replaced by a 13-megapixel offering.

A secondary, 5-megapixel selfie shooter is also expected to make an appearance, with Android 5.1 Lollipop the OS of choice.

Motorola is yet to officially unveil the new Moto G.
