PanARMENIAN.Net - Ancient Music Festival, dedicated to 700th death anniversary of Ramon Llull, a Spanish writer and philosopher, logician and a Franciscan tertiary, will be held at Poblet Monastery in Catalonia, Spain, on August 14-16.

The festival will start with a concert titled “One Thousand and One Nights of Music” and will conclude with the program “The Spirit of Armenia,” commemorating the Armenian Genocide centennial, Tert.am reported, citing La Vanguardia.

To honor the memory of the victims through art, works by Tigran Tchoukhajian and Komitas, selected by the director of the festival himself, Jordi Savall, will be performed.
