Tension subsides at Artsakh-Azeri contact line

PanARMENIAN.Net - Although the situation was relatively calm at the line of contact between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, the Azeri armed forces violated the ceasefire on Wednesday, July 29 and the following night.

According to NKR Defense Army, 100 ceasefire violations by Azeris were registered, with over 1600 shots fired from various caliber weapons, including 60mm mortars, RPG-7 and HAN-17 grenade launchers.

The Defense Army said its frontline units took retaliatory measures and continue controlling the situation.
