Microsoft’s Outlook for Apple Watch joins OneDrive, PowerPoint, SkypeAugust 7, 2015 - 14:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft has been a strong supporter of the Apple Watch, and that's continuing today with the release of Outlook for Apple Watch, The Verge says. The latest update makes it easier to see full emails and the ability to now reply to messages. By default, Outlook notifications on the Apple Watch now show a lot more of the email body instead of cutting it short after a couple of sentences. While you still can't reply instantly from a notification, you can now tap on the Outlook icon in the notification to launch a dedicated Outlook Apple Watch app that lets you see an overview of email and reply to any messages using quick replies or dictation, The Verge says. Microsoft has also built an Outlook glance for the Apple Watch, providing a quick look at emails and calendar appointments. Like most other Apple Watch apps, Microsoft's included, it's a rather basic app that simply extends the notification experience, according to the Verge. Microsoft has also setup a dedicated wearables site to list and detail its various Office apps for Android Wear and the Apple Watch. Microsoft's latest Outlook for Apple Watch app joins a host of similar apps including OneDrive, PowerPoint, Skype, and OneNote.
