Armenian Church of Holy Seal reopened, consecrated in Istanbul

PanARMENIAN.Net - 18th century Armenian Church of the Holy Seal (Surb Nshan) reopened after a 2-year restoration in Kartal district of Istanbul, Turkey, with the support of the city administration and various funds, Ermenihaber.am reports.

Kartal mayor Altınok Öz, city administration members, Vicar of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Aram Ateshian, representative of minorities at Turkey’s supreme council of foundations, Toros Alcan, Armenian clergymen, Armenian and Turkish citizens attended the opening ceremony.

A liturgy was served and the church was consecrated afterwards.
