Tom Hardy to produce, star in comic book movie

PanARMENIAN.Net - Tom Hardy is on board to produce and possibly star in New Line’s adaptation of the Vertigo comic book “100 Bullets,” Variety reports.

Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso’s acclaimed comic follows a man who presents various people with a gun, the identity of the person who ruined their lives and a hundred rounds of untraceable ammunition.

Plot details are currently being kept under wraps.

Chris Borrelli penned the script. Geoff Johns and Adam Schlagman are overseeing the project for DC Comics, while Richard Brener, Walter Hamada and Dave Neustadter are working for New Line.

Hardy, who starred in Warner Bros.’ “Mad Max: Fury Road,” still has the Universal gangster pic “Legend” and the revenge drama “The Revenant,” directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, on the way.
