Katherine Heigl lands role in Warner Bros. “Unforgettable”August 13, 2015 - 14:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Katherine Heigl is set to star in the Warner Bros. thriller “Unforgettable,” directed by Denise Di Novi, Variety says it has learnt. Rosario Dawson is also on board to co-star in the pic. Di Novi is producing the film with her partner Alison Greenspan. Christina Hodson is writing the script, which centers on a man whose new spouse is menaced by his ex-wife. The film marks Heigl’s return to the studio, where she previously starred in the Greg Berlanti-directed and Di Novi-produced “Life as We Know It.” The casting is a big step forward for the film, which looks to be one step closer to production following “Belle” director Amma Asante’s departure earlier this year. Heigl most recently starred with Tom Wilkinson in the independent feature “Jenny’s Wedding” that premiered at this year’s Outfest Film Festival. This year she also starred in the Ami Mann-directed independent feature “Jackie & Ryan.” Heigl’s other credits include “Knocked Up,” “27 Dresses” and “The Ugly Truth.” The pic is also Di Novi’s directing debut after producing a long list of films for Warner Bros., going back to Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns” in 1992 and including “Crazy Stupid Love,” “Nights in Rodanthe,” “If I Stay” and the two “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” films.
